View Article  HOW TO JOIN FAMILIES UNITED

Joining Families United has many benefits to you and your family. These are:

1.     FUN activities are limited to members only and details will only be sent to those families who have returned their forms and paid the annual subscription.

2.     Completion and return of the ensures  that  the  family as a whole is a member of  FUN  and  that  parents  and  guardians over 18 have a vote at the Annual General Meeting.  This will give you an opportunity to shape the future of your group.

3.     Parents and guardians over 18 completing the form are also eligible to stand for election onto the Families United Committee.

The database will be kept and maintained by the FUN office and information provided will be confidential to relevant committee members of Families United.   Your personal information will not be used for any purposes what so ever or given to any external agencies without prior agreement.

Annual membership is a one off payment of £12.00 due in April for the year 2012/2013 and covers membership for the whole family.  Kindly return your cheque (made out to Families United) with completed membership forms to the address on the letterhead.

A 'Permission to use photographs etc for publicity purposes' is downloadable so we can be sure you agree family photographs may be used in our newsletters or publicity articles.   Could all those on the database over the age of 18 also sign the Database Agreement Form indicating their agreement to the information being kept on the database?

A “Gift Aid Declaration” allows you to make a voluntary donation to the group which will not be subject to tax.  Please be assured that you are under no obligation to send a donation or to use this form but for those wishing to make a donation to the group this is the preferred way now.

Should you have any queries please contact Jill Oakes on 0743 267 6713, who will be pleased to assist.
